WHAT ARE THE SAFETY FEATURES OF THE Cybex cloud z?
The flexible structure of the material absorbs the forces of an impact, and helps guide it away from the baby.
The Cloud Z also has Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) System. There is an L.S.P on both side of the car seat, but you only need to extend the one that is closest to the door. The very first impact forces of an accident are reduced by the extended side protector that is closest to the door. The car seat’s flexible shell reduces up to 25% of the impact forces, directing them away from your baby.
The Cloud Z i-Size features a removable, well-padded newborn inlay, which ensures a near-flat lying position of your baby. This helps to reduce the risk of the baby's head flopping forward while asleep, which can lead to serious breathing problems. The inlay has firm inserts on the sides to protect and support your baby.
The newborn inlay should be removed once your baby is taller than 60 cm.
When installed without the isofix base, ADAC scored it 1.4 for safety, with very low risk of injury in a frontal crash and very low risk of injury in a side impact.
When installed with the isofix base, ADAC gave it a score of 1.6 with low risk of injury in a frontal crash and very low risk in side impact collision.
